A live, data-driven website for a Championship Speedway club.
Overview
Plymouth Gladiators needed more than a brochure site — they needed a living platform that kept fans informed between and during meetings. The redesigned site pulls live data from Firebase, synchronises with the club's mobile app, and presents the club's identity with the boldness it deserves.
The Challenge
The existing site was static, outdated, and disconnected from any live data source. Fixture results took days to appear, rider information was manually maintained, and the site bore no visual relationship to the club's brand or the energy of the sport.
The Solution
Built with Astro for performance and SEO, the site fetches live fixture and rider data from Firebase at build time and on-demand. Rider profiles, results, league tables, news, and sponsor content all update automatically. The visual design draws directly from the club's yellow-and-navy identity, with the same boldness as the Speedway Club App.
